Academic Board

The Academic Board of DUW makes fundamental policy decisions and is responsible for the academic quality of research and teaching at DUW. Its members include the Presidium, three representatives from the spheres of business, government and science, and members of the internal groups that make up the university. The Board decides on the disciplines to which the University devotes departments and courses of study, and on the focus areas of research at DUW. Furthermore, the board also makes decisions on the composition of the teaching staff, and on the establishment and filling of professorships.
