Field Trip
The five-day field trip is a special learning and teaching format, and an integral part of all master’s degree courses at DUW. As an opportunity for a supervised, reflective examination of key aspects of the professional field concerned, the field trip plays a special part in ensuring that your continuing education studies are relevant to actual practice.
You will receive insights into typical departments and divisions of companies, government agencies or organizations that are relevant to the topic and subject matter of the given master’s degree course. On site in a working organization, you will engage in a scientific dialog with practitioners and discuss selected issues pertaining to the professional field. This enables you to recognize practical applications of your knowledge, and thus reinforces the sustainability of the skills you have acquired in your studies.
You may choose to undertake your field trip either in Germany or abroad.
