Skills Development and New Media
The certificate programme in Skills Development and New Media focuses on issues in skills-oriented continuing education and innovative forms of learning. Companies increasingly face the challenge of effectively developing and training their staff. They need to bond well-trained employees with the organization, to secure the company’s innovative capability, and to make optimum use of their resources. In this situation, the goal of skills-oriented continuing education is to enable the participants to solve complex problems in a goal-oriented, self-organized way. Based on the principle that skills cannot be taught, but must be developed by the subjects themselves in real decision-making situations, the certificate programme enables you to assimilate and to plan the various stages of skills learning in a practical project in your professional environment. You will learn ways and approaches to support skills-oriented continuing education. The programme focuses on the Internet’s potential for interactive development — “Web 2.0” — with particular attention to collaboration tools.
