Organization and Personnel Development
Changes in businesses or organizations - whether a new product or service profile, a repositioning in the market, or a strategic reorientation - are ultimately carried out by people. The challenge is therefore to include individuals in projected changes and to create structures that support the process of change.
But how can enterprises and organizations prepare specifically to manage new demands? How can the organization’s internal development processes be controlled? And how can the employees’ skills be utilized to optimize processes and to achieve objectives efficiently, while at the same time increasing each individual’s job satisfaction?
The answers can be found in the interplay of organizational development and personnel development. It is well known that processes of change can only succeed if they are appropriately integrated in the overarching strategy of the enterprise or organization, and in its control systems. Successful change also depends on the strategic orientation of personnel development.
For this reason, the certificate programme in Organization and Personnel Development focuses on the strategic dimension of processes of change. You will examine the conditions required for a learning organization and identify the part that structures and processes can play in successful change. You will also explore the actions that personnel development can take to involve employees in the processes of change.
In this way you strengthen your ability to supervise processes of change in businesses and organizations professionally and to shape them sustainably.
