Intercultural Communication

Dealing with Diversity

How do we deal with differences? As globalization progresses, and the spheres we work and live in become increasingly international, this question becomes more and more urgent.

Being able to move between cultures and languages — especially expert cultures, roles and functional disciplines — is one of the essential soft skills that companies and organizations expect of their employees today. Companies must be as diverse as the society itself and face the challenges of dealing with diversity; otherwise, they risk being left behind by the rapid changes in society.

The certificate programme in Intercultural Communication focuses on successful, reflective, skilful engagement in dealing with difference. In view of the increasing internationalization of professional activity, and of increasing demands for interprofessional teamwork, the skills you acquire in this course are essential for a successful career.
