The General Professional Studies certificate programme is built on a generalist, transdisciplinary approach. The six courses that make up the programme are focused on developing general management and personal abilities and skills.
In the first three courses of the programme — Change Management, Enterprise Management and Controlling, and Project Management and Practice Transfer — you will study planned changes in a social system, examine the design of effective management processes, and study the conditions for successful projects.
In the last three courses — Knowledge Management, Leadership and Cross-cultural Communication — you will explore ways working with knowledge and your own skills, and with stores of knowledge at the organizational level; examine your ways of dealing with yourself and others; and analyze appropriate behaviour in the context of different cultures, roles and functional doctrines, including expert cultures. Particular attention is given to ensuring the sustainability of the skills you acquire in the course, and transferring them to actual practice.
